There is nothing better than a few days in the great outdoors, in the middle of the nature, relaxing and enjoying the silence and the fresh air. But can you really relax if you spend your nights sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress?

If you’re planning to sleep in a tent or in your RV, there is no reason to torture yourself. You won’t be able to go hiking or fishing if you wake up every morning all stiff and sore.

The first step when you go camping is to find a good camper mattress. If you are going in a remote area, where you can reach only by foot, you don’t have a lot of options. You have to get a simple, basic, light camper mattress, made of foam, or an air mattress. They need to be easy to install, easy to pack and very good insulators.

But, if you can drive to the place you want to camp, you can afford a more comfortable mattress.   There are a lot of quite sophisticated mattresses, designed especially to fit your RV. Most of them are made of modern materials, such as memory foam, which allows a comfortable night sleep, but it’s also light and easy to carry. Most camper mattresses producers will make, at your request, custom mattresses, perfectly fitted to the dimensions of your RV.  You’ll be able to really enjoy your camping trip if you start every day feeling all fresh and relaxed.

When you buy mattresses for your RV, there are some thongs you need to keep in mind. First, you need to make sure they are easy to clean: when you are in a camping trip, all sort of stuff, like dirt, leafs, branches or insects will end up on your mattress. So, make sure your RV camper mattress has a detachable, washable cover- when you get home, you will surely have to clean up the mattress. Also, it’ a good idea to check if the mattress is made of hypoallergenic materials: a rash is the last thing you need when you are on a camping trip.

Even if you are going to spend your nights in a tent, but you can drive to the camping area, pack a thicker, more comfortable mattress- there is no need to choose the thinnest mattress if you’re not back-packing. You can roll almost any foam mattress, even if it’s thicker, and you can put it in your trunk. The stars will certainly look much brighter if you’re watching them laying on a comfortable mattress.

Many peoples love to be in the nature, but they don’t go in camping trips because they are too afraid of those uncomfortable nights. Take the time to choose a good, comfortable camping mattress. After that, all you will have to do is pack your things and enjoy every day and every night of your camping trip.
